Long overdue, 
We really must try to make the time.
When things start to go wrong 
And patience grows thin,
That's the time for looking back.
But don't forget the future's in your hands.

Talking around, 
Avoiding those stones held in reserve.
On long walks on your own 
You thought that you knew
Just where you were going,
But the mind plays tricks and brings you right back home.

Try taking a chance.
Rescue, help is on its way.
In days from now we'll wonder
How we ever did not see those warning signs we've seen before,
And made a note not to ignore,
But forgot.

Hanging around,
Waiting for that telephone to ring. 
Bad news travels fast
But good takes some time.
Angry with yourself for ever,
Doubting all those things I said to you.
